96black came about from the merging of two companies. 96degrees and Black Knight. Both companies were operating in the same space with similar markets, systems and technologies.
The difference between the two companies lay in the type of work that was being undertaken. Black Knight was focused predominantly on technical development work and website design whilst 96degrees was focused on website design and online marketing. The joining of the two companies has resulted in an organisation that offers a wide range of services backed up by excellent technical skills and excellent marketing skills. Effectively the best of both worlds.
As a company, we're focused purely on the Internet and how an organisation presents itself online. We have strong design and technical skills and back this up with sound marketing experience and knowledge.
Tristan Marris
Tristan has been working in the online space since 2002 and is extremely passionate about the Internet. With a Marketing Degree from Otago University and experience working in London for New Media agencies, he is ideally suited to working out how a business can best harness the Internet to build a competitive advantage. Tristan likes to keep his own competitive edge by scouring our great NZ woodlands on his mountain bike!
Mark Osborne
Mark has over 14 years experience in the online space building database driven websites, Ecommerce solutons and web based applications. One of Mark's biggest skills is the ability to look at a businesses existing processes and systems and work out the best method of utilising the Internet to create efficiency. When Mark isn't in front of his Mac coding or designing, you'll find him crossing side to side of the local golf course fairways! -
